Summary
In the broad scheme of things, why did the Gospels end the way that they did? Certainly there is much to celebrate and give thanks for in the life and ministry of Jesus, but where do we go from here? Why is it a good thing that Jesus ascended and left his people behind? Today we reflect upon the implications of these events for the life and ministry of the church as the people of God sent to be witnesses in this world.
