Summary
Only one returned? Only one returned! How do you react to the fact that only one of the ten lepers returns to Jesus to show appreciation? Is it a feeling of surprise, of anger, or even disgust? As much as we might think this passage is a stern lesson on the importance of giving thanks, in all reality it is a question of “where” do you give thanks? Where do you go with your thanks and praise? To whom do you turn in appreciation for all the blessings of life?
