Summary

John brings us a message from the wilderness. It is harsh, difficult, and unrelenting. It is not the typical vision of Jesus that leaves images of sugarplums dancing in our head. John invites us to prepare not just for a day, but to prepare for a person, a person who will stay with us for an eternity.
