Summary
Today, as Jesus washes the hesitant disciples' feet, we think on the ways that we are hesitant to receive the merciful washing of God. Do we eagerly follow Jesus' example or reluctantly? Is our life of faith consistent or sporadic? In many ways, this one action challenges us to think deeply about the ways this one humble action reveals the distance between us and Jesus.
