Summary
Jesus tells a story of utter contrasts. He paints the picture of the nameless rich man who lives in lavish luxury and the poor, downtrodden Lazarus who suffers in every way. Yet, when their fortunes are reversed in the afterlife, their true character is revealed. Each day our character is being forged. What will our life story tell? Will we be those who say to God, “Thy will be done,” or will we be those who God finally has to say, “Thy will be done.”
