Praise and Thanksgiving

Summary
On Thanksgiving, most Americans are thankful for God’s gift of a table overflowing with special foods, not to mention the family gathered for the parades and football games and the necessary coordination for the upcoming ‘not-to-be-beat’ Christmas sales. Thanksgiving and thankfulness is not unusual in today’s culture. But today we celebrate that God has fed us both with our daily bread and with his word of forgiveness in Jesus. Because of Jesus, we know our thanksgiving will have no end. Today, we ponder what it means to be thankful, and we turn our thanks into praise for the one who has given us everything.
