Summary
Too often we are rushed along in life with the who, what, where, when, and how that we forget to reflect upon the ‘why.’ Deuteronomy 7 raises the question of why God has chosen the Israelites to be his treasured possession. It is a demonstration of his grace. For God does not search for what is loveable. He creates within us what He loves. The reasons for God’s love towards his chosen people is based not on us, but upon Him. He faithfully remembers His promises and fulfills His unconditional love in Jesus Christ.
