Summary
In today’s readings, Jesus comes upon a crowd which is waiting for him. At the center of that crowd is a young man possessed by a demon and a father who is distraught and desperate. When no one else can help, the father utters these words: “I believe; help my unbelief!” Jesus does help, in all that He does and is. In His miracles and teaching, suffering and death, resurrection and ascension, Jesus calls us to faith. And He calls us to be His witnesses.
