Summary
The book of Revelation invites us to look at things “differently.” Through its bold imagery it stops us in our tracks to wonder, “What does this mean?” In today’s sermon, we see a very different image of Jesus in stark contrast to the common mental images impressed upon our minds. Why does John want to make sure that we catch a “vision” of this Jesus? What does it matter for our future? Even more importantly, what does it matter for our present?
