Summary
Zeal can be good. Paul is certainly “zealous” in our 1 Corinthians! But zeal can also lead us to judgment, pride, and boasting. Paul urges us in the Church: Don’t zealously compare yourselves with one another. Instead, look to Christ and work together. Don’t give the flesh an opportunity to turn your zeal into sin. Give up your boasting. Christ has done the hard work!
