Summary
In Luke 9:28-36, Jesus was not the only one meant to be transformed by the events that took place on the mountain of Transfiguration. As the scene unfolds, God’s Word opens our eyes to the identity of our Savior, opens our ears to His call for disciples who hear and heed his instruction, and finally lips our mouths to declare his praise. May our fears and worries fade away, as we are left with Jesus only in the glories of God’s love and compassion.
