Summary
Jesus comes to us today to ask us an urgent question: Do you know me? In spite of our shame and inability to even confess our hesitance to believe, he comes to us as he came to those first disciples. He reminds us once again, "I am the door. I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me." Through these words, the good shepherd goes after us his lost sheep. He calls us by name! And with repentant joy, we say with John, "It is the Lord!"
