Summary
A man anxiously seeks Jesus with an important question about life, its meaning, and its ultimate destination. Jesus, being the great physician that he is, detects the spiritual illness that lurks within this man’s heart. While the doctor’s orders may seem extreme, they reveal just how great the illness has become within this man’s life. While the gift that Jesus offers is entirely free, the fact is that some find the personal cost too great. How do we deal with the sad fact that some will still walk away from the true riches that are found in Jesus?
