Sermon by Pastor Kurt Ebert from our Maundy Thursday worship service on April 14, 2022, based on 1 Corinthians 10:16-17. Jesus gives us gifts galore on this important night of Holy Week. Even as he faces his upcoming betrayal and arrest, Jesus takes the time to bless others with a demonstration of his great love for his disciples and his church. He gives us both the Lord’s Supper and a commandment of love. The two go together, as Jesus desires that this meal of forgiveness be an expression of our love for one another and our unity as the people of God.
