“Blessed are…” Jesus says these words time and time again in our Gospel reading today, but He says them to people who probably don’t feel blessed. As we think on the darkest moments of our life, Jesus’ words speak His peace to us. Jesus promises His comfort and His presence in our lives. He promises blessings.
