Summary
Even from a distance and in a troublesome situation, Paul is still hard at work maintaining the fellowship of faith with the Christians in Philippi. Currently imprisoned and facing trial for his confession of Jesus, Paul still finds reason for joy and celebration, as God works in this difficult moment. Why? Because of the shared partnership in the Gospel. They are joined together in Christ. In joy and in sorrow, in life and death, in salvation and sanctification, they enjoy a bond in the one who lives in them and died for them.
