It had been over 20 years since Calvary last did a strategic plan, so in January of this year Calvary began work on a new strategic planning. We used a process provided by the LCMS called Re:Vitality. The first step was gathering honest feedback about our church from everyone involved through a congregation-wide self-assessment survey. Thank you to everyone who completed the survey!
After the survey was completed and the results were tabulated, Parish Council and the Ministry Teams went through other steps of the process including a SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) and SMART goal setting (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Timely). The result of all this effort is three interrelated goals that we will are now working on.
