It was a perfect day to be outdoors!
Thank the LORD for great weather, willing hands, and joyful hearts as our Calvary Family worshiped outdoors and then enjoyed a wonderful picnic on Sunday, September 18. Pastor Ebert began a new sermon series, “For the Sake of Others”, and Pastor Sam and Molly provided the contemporary music for worship. More than 225 members of the Calvary Family came out for this year’s outdoor worship service and picnic at German Park.
There was plenty to eat and lots of activities for the entire family. A fried chicken and pulled pork buffet was catered by Jug’s Catering. There were bounce houses for the children, nine-square was a favorite with the youth as was volleyball and corn hole. For many adults, it was the perfect time to sit, talk and catch up. All and all, it was a great time of fellowship.
Thank you to all who attended, served and supported this year's Calvary Outdoor Worship & Picnic at German Park. We pray you had a wonderful time with your Calvary family, enjoying good food and games! Ministry Teams and many other volunteers made this event a success! Your serving hands and hearts made all the difference. Picnic patrons, your financial support is greatly appreciated! God is so good and He blesses us through all of you!
