We are so glad that you are interested in finding out more about becoming a part of Calvary Lutheran Church and School. Whatever your faith background, we are excited to come alongside you in your walk with Christ Jesus our Lord. We pray that our ministries will help you grow in your faith through worship, study of God's Word, stewardship, serving others and becoming a part of God the Father’s mission to spread the good news of forgiveness and new life in His Son, Jesus.
We want you to get involved, but more importantly, we want you to feel connected and engaged in God’s mission. Twice a year—typically starting in January and August—we offer a class called “Foundations of Faith” for adults interested in knowing more about and possibly becoming a part of our congregation and its ministries. This class meets for 6 sessions during the Sunday education hour (9:20 a.m.). For those with children, our nursery is staffed during class time for children under 3 years old and Sunday school classes are available for children preschool (3 year old) through high school.

Welcome to Calvary Lutheran School! CLS has served Indianapolis’ Southside community for more than 60 years. We are nestled in a community setting on 15+ acres of land. Founded in 1950, our school’s originators sought to provide high quality, Christ-centered education for the children in our community. Today, we continue that mission and include an emphasis on incorporating families, teachers, and students to foster academic excellence, integrity, and compassion as our students develop into their full potential.
Calvary provides a caring environment, treating your child as our own, and offering a wide array of opportunities for growth both academically and spiritually. We are also proud to offer a variety of athletics and extracurricular activities.
