“Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of
witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which
clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is

Speculations
Every day we hear about the possible outcomes for numerous things. We are currently in a nation-wide election period. The news is full of the candidates who are seeking public office. Speculations are made as to the outcomes. Sports include speculations for every contest. Statistics are used to provide credible speculations. In a nutshell, speculations are simply forecasted outcomes. Deal with investment strategies and one knows if what was speculated comes to fruition. Yet there is one thing that no speculations are provided for- all is certain and complete. This is the testimony of Jesus as He assures us in faith that He will come again to bring all believers into His Kingdom. The truth of Scripture demolishes speculation. We trust God’s Word to guide us through the power of the Holy Spirit. We boldly proclaim our faith as we illustrate faith in action. “Yesterday is past. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift.
That is why it is called the present.”
